SPECIAL EVENT - Terms AND Conditions
Special Event Periods apply to selected dates when major concerts, sporting events or other high-demand events are taking place in Auckland.
-
Special Event Rate
The rate and package displayed at the time of booking apply only to the dates, room type and number of guests confirmed. Standard rates, corporate rates, group rates, promotional offers, discount codes, loyalty discounts and other special offers do not apply unless expressly stated. -
Priority of these terms
These Special Event Period Terms replace any other rate, payment, amendment or cancellation conditions that may normally apply. If there is any inconsistency, these terms take priority. The Surrey Hotel’s standard house rules and guest policies continue to apply. -
Minimum stay
A minimum stay may apply. Guests who shorten their stay after booking will remain responsible for the full value of the original reservation. -
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. -
Cancellations and no-shows
Special Event bookings are non-refundable. No refund or credit will be provided for cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures or unused nights, except where required by New Zealand law. -
Changes to a booking
Changes are subject to availability and approval by The Surrey Hotel. Any approved change may result in a rate difference. Reducing the number of nights or rooms booked will not result in a refund. -
Event cancellation or postponement
The accommodation booking is separate from the event. If the event is cancelled, postponed, relocated or its schedule changes, the hotel reservation and these cancellation terms will continue to apply. Where possible, The Surrey Hotel may offer a date change at its discretion, subject to availability and any applicable rate difference. -
Room occupancy
Maximum room occupancy limits apply. All guests must be included in the reservation, and additional-person charges may apply. The booking cannot be resold or transferred without the hotel’s prior written approval. -
